HAVEN PRIDE PROGRAM
The Haven PRIDE Committee was established in July 2002.
Committee Organization:
The Committee is an all volunteer organization of approximately ten people. It was initially formed
under the direction of Kansas Department of Commerce & Housing, Kansas State University
Cooperative Extension Service, and in coordination with the City of Haven.

What
the Program Does: The Haven PRIDE program
is a volunteer grassroots effort to improve the quality
of life in the community. The program is intended to encourage
the community to carry out programs and projects that will
result in community improvement. These efforts emphasize
tourism, community development, economic development, and
promotion of Haven - as well as cultural assets of our
area.

How
do I Join the PRIDE Committee:
Contact the Chairman or attend the monthly meeting.
Membership in Haven Pride is open to anyone residing in Haven
who is committed to improving the quality of life in the community.
Pride is a non-profit organization and there are no dues or fees.
Funds for the organization are derived from contributions, grants
and fundraising projects.
When
Does the PRIDE Committee Meet:
Third Thursday of each month in the City Offices.
